Walk

Half Day

Morning or afternoon:

We can walk straight from the door, or arrange to pick up and start elsewhere. Our guided hikes are usually a circular walk which will take in awesome views, no doubt a church and may be an old site or 2. We will be back for lunch or dinner.

c55 euros per person depending on chosen route. Water will be provided and some snacks.

Full Day

Starting by 9am, we will arrange to pick up you up to drive to the start of our walk. a full day allows us to include some epic sites, some lunch and potentially a boat for the return journey! We will discuss the options with you. Whatever we do, you will be back for an evening swim and a well earned dinner.

c140 euros per person depending on chosen route. Includes picnic lunch. Water and snacks will be provided.

Walking on Symi

Its epic! The sense of space, huge vistas and infinite blues are incredible. On a clear day you can see well into Turkey and the Taurus Mountains (the Taurus Mountains are considered the westernmost branch of the great mountain chain that spans all of Asia, eventually connecting to the Himalayan mountain belt) The walking terrain is rocky, and can be challenging at times but its so worth it. Connecting you to nature and yourself.

The paths are marked and having a knowledgeable guide with you is great. Obviously, it can get hot, so we don’t do this in high season unless its a very special occasion and in the evening - may be to a church feast. You will need proper walking gear and shoes for rocky, uneven terrain and a hat is advisable, but most definitely sun screen! Some people use poles, we do not provide these though, so do bring them if this is your preference.

Our guides are all experienced walking on Symi. However you must take full ownership and responsbility for taking any necessary insurances out for yourself and equip yourself appropriately. We cannot be held liable for falls, or accidents that can sometimes inevitably occur. Every opportunity to avoid such occurances will be taken and challenging terraines will be discussed ahead of time for your full awareness and decision making.
